POVITRULYA

Povitrulya is a beloved Ukrainian mythological female character. Povitrulya means "wind spirit" and she is associated with the element of wind. They are said to be the daughters of mountain winds and are often depicted as beautiful, winged women dressed in flowers from head to toe. Povitruli are said to be mischievous but kind, and they love to help lovers in their love affairs. They are also said to be very protective of shepherds who are kind to them.
Comes from the Carpathian region of Ukraine. There is a belief that if someone dreams of a loved one for nine nights in a row, then on the tenth night, Povitrulya will descend from the sky in the form of the loved one. They are often seen as being helpful and kind.
